Genevieve Nnaji movie to close International Film Festival.

Starting with Jonas Carpignano’s Mediterranean, the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), is set to close with Genevieve Nnaji's Road to Yesterday.

Other films which will feature include Desmond Elliot’s Reflections, Akin Omotoso’s Tell Me Something Sweet, and Yared Zeleke’s Lamb, according to QED.

The selected movies will be screened in Silverbird, Genesis Deluxe, and City Mall Cinemas from November 8 to November 15, 2015.
Speaking on the selection, the festival’s artistic director, Keith Shiri, said:

“The selection in this edition is not only celebrating African cinema but demonstrates once more that the cinematic story telling industry in Africa has become more compelling and visible”.

Set in Lagos Nigeria, Road to Yesterday is an epic love story, about a couple desperate to mend its marriage on a road trip to a relative’s funeral.

However when memories and secrets from the past are revealed, a lot more is at stake than their relationship.
