Mavin Records act Di'ja recently took to teaching at a local primary school in Kaduna.

No, she has not abandoned singing; she only took to teaching for charity. Di'ja, born Hadiza Blell, taught a class of 55 students when she visited Kaduna, her mom's hometown. While in Kaduna, Di'ja visited radio stations to promote her music and also the school, Husna Academy, where she worked as a stand-in teacher for a whole day.

Di'ja also donated books and other learning materials to the school.
